\t"Thanks, man." Ray hung up before Michael could pry further information out of him. He set the phone on the table and stared at it anxiously.\n\n\t"An hour." He muttered to himself. "I can wait an hour."\n\n\tFive minutes later Ray was dialing Joel's number, bouncing his leg as the phone rang. What if Joel gave him the wrong number? What if Joel was straight? Well, then he would be really fucking weird to give Ray his number, wouldn't he? Finally the ringing stopped and Joel's voice answered.\n\n\t"hello?"\n\n\t"Hey, it's Ray. The dumbass from the grocery store."\n\n\t"Oh, hey!" releif washed over Ray as he heard the happiness in Joel's voice.\n\n\t"Sorry if I called too soon. I'm a little rusty at this."\n\n\t"You're too young to be rusty at this."\n\n\t"Ok, fine. I'm just bad at it. I actually asked a friend how long I was supposed to wait before I called you."\n\n\t"And what did he say?" Joel laughed.\n\n\t"An hour." Ray admitted, smiling as Joel laughed again.\n\n\t"I admire your patience."\n\n\t"It's something I'm quite proud of." Ray was overjoyed at how easy Joel was to talk to.\n\n\t"So, how about dinner?"\n\n\t"[[Dinner|restaurant]] sounds great."
\tThey walked back to the couch, where Ray plopped down, dragging Joel down with him. Their lips were locked together as Joel pinned Ray to the couch, mouth moving down his jaw and over his neck. Ray moaned softly at first, then remembered Michael had left and let out a much louder moan. Joel pulled back, eyes looking hungry.\n\n\t"Somebody's a lot more vocal than I imagined."\n\n\t"You imagined this?" Ray felt all his blood rush south at the thought.\n\n\t"Are you not aware of how attractive you are?" He grinned.\n\n\t"Oh my god, shut up and get back to what you were doing." Ray blushed. Joel obliged, sliding a hand up Ray's shirt to toy with his nipples as the other went to work unbuttoning his pants. Ray's hips bucked as Joel's hand went down his boxers, pumping his shaft slowly.\n\n\t"Yes, oh god. Right there." He whimpered as Joel swirled a thumb through the precum at the head of his cock. Joel took his hands away and Ray whined, until he saw Joel pulla small bottle of lube out of his pocket. He coated his fingers liberally, sliding one into Ray and moving it slowly. Ray moved his hips to meet Joel's movements. "More, please, more." He moaned, and Joel added two more fingers, stretching Ray open. Ray grabbed his shirt collar and brought him down into a kiss. Joel moved his fingers inside of Ray, using the smaller man's moans as indidcations of where to touch. Ray had never been so loud in his //life//, but something about Joel was taking him apart but by bit. He reached up to unbutton his shirt but Joel stopped him.\n\n\t"You leave that on."\n\n\t"But it's going to get ruined- fuck!" He cut himself off as Joel found his sweet spot. The older man just shook his head.\n\n\t"The pants can come off, but the shirt stays." His voice changed, becoming more commanding. Ray whimpered in acknowledgement, then whined as Joel pulled his fingers out. He sat back on the couch, unbuttoning his jeans quickly and lubing up his already hard cock. He slid into Ray slowly, until Ray started begging him for more. He picked up the pace, thrusting quickly and roughly. Ray panted out cursewords with every rough thrust, letting his nails dig into Joel's back. Joel angled his hips just right, hitting Ray's prostate over and over while he pumped him with his other hand. Ray Moaned so loud it was barely a suprise when they heard a pounding on the wall from the apartment next door. They looked at each other in shock at first, then both collapsed in a fit of giggles.\n\n\t"Fuck, I'm sorry." Ray snorted out. "We're probably going to have to soundproof my bedroom or something. Joel stared at him. "I mean, shit I mean... If you want to keep doing this, that is. Don't feel obligated to, just like, I thought-"\n\n\tJoel cut him off with a kiss and Ray melted into it. They picked back up again, this time Joel going harder and faster.\n\n\t"Let's see," He panted between thrusts. "You're really attractive. You're adorable. You're funny, and you're a video game expert."\n\n\t"Not exactly an expert-"\n\n\t"Shut up." Joel groaned. "Do that moaning thing you were doing. Of course I want to keep doing this." Ray just let out a loud moan in response as he felt his orgasm come on.\n\n\t"Fuck, I'm gonna-" He came, spurting onto his shirt and tightening around Joel, who followed quickly. Joel pulled back, leaning back on the couch to tuck himself back into his boxers. He leaned forward again, kissing Ray gently.\n\n\t"I'd like to do more than this, actually." He smiled. "If that's ok with you." Ray gaped, then jumped as his phone rang.\n\n\t"Hello?" He panted, still regaining his breath.\n\n\t"Oh, Thank god you're not dead." Michael answered. "What the fuck have you been doing?"\n\n\t"Um..."\n\n\t"Oh //gross//."
\tJoel was dressed in jeans and t-shirt.\n\tRay looked at Joel, then down at his dress shirt. Joel gave him a smirk and he felt like crawling into a hole.\n\n\t"I, sorry, I... You were wearing a suit and I-"\n\n\tRay was cut off by soft, but strong lips on his. He gaped at Joel as he pulled back.\n\n\t"Maybe I have a thing for cute boys in nice clothes."\n\n\t"Oh." Ray recovered quickly, shooting a smirk back at Joel. "So it's going to be //that// kind of night." Joel kissed him again, leading him back into the [[apartment]].
\tRay sat up groggily, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He struggled to escape from the cocoon of sheets he had made in his sleep. He always seemed to do that. Michael joked that eventually he was going to strangle a hookup in his bed while he slept.\n\t\n\tHe climbed out of bed, searching through his dresser for something clean to wear, a harder task than it should be as Ray had the tendency to shove dirty clothes back in with the clean. He finally dug out a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles" shirt and pulled it on with some khaki shorts and his checkered vans.\n\n\t"Seriously," Michael hollered through the door. "They will fire your ass if you don't get up." Ray opened the door as Michael finished his sentence, smirking as his roomate jumped. "Didn't you wear that shirt two days ago?" Michael wrinkled his nose. Ray shrugged and headed to the kitchen.\n\n\tHe pulled some cheerios out of the cabinet and grabbed the last carton of milk from the fridge. Ray made a mental note to buy more on his way home. Michael walked by Ray as he finished his breakfast, already dressed in coveralls and carrying his toolbox.\n\n\t"I'm headed to work. Turn the lights off before you leave and for God's sake do some laundry when you get home." Ray nodded his acknowledgement and Michael left.\n\n\tRay cleaned up and headed out the door, grabbing his bike from the garage. He flew down the Austin streets, appreciating the cool breeze. Finally he reached the Gamestop where he worked. Ray locked up his bike and headed inside.\n\n\tA pretty blonde woman stood behind the register, flipping through a magazine. Ray winced as she looked up at him.\n\n\tCourtney and Ray had broken up after she learned he had dropped out of school. Today was his first day since the breakup that they shared the same shift.\n\n\t"Hey Courtney." Ray winced again as his voice cracked. Courtney smiled at him but thankfully said nothing. He went to work in the back, shelving their new shipment of games. Courtney poked her head in about a half hour later.\n\n\t"Hey, Ray?"\n\t\n\t"Mhm?" Ray was focused on mentally going through his ABCs, trying to figure out where Animal Crossing fit alphabetically in the A section.\n\n\t"There's a guy out front checking out some games. Could you cover the register? I have to use the bathroom."\n\n\t"M...N...O..."\n\n\t"...What?"\n\n\t"Oh, sorry." Ray refocused on Courtney. "Yeah, sure." He set down the Animal Crossing pile and headed out to the front again. A man in a business suit stood facing away from Ray, talking in quietly on the phone. Ray sat down on the stool behind the register and pulled out his DS from the pile the employees kept under the desk. If he had to wait he might as well play some Pokemon.\n\n\tRay was in the middle of a tense battle when he heard somebody clear their throat. He almost dropped the DS as he looked up to see business-suit-guy looking at him. Ray almost dropped the DS again when he registered how attractive the guy was. Then he smiled.\n\n\tRay dropped the DS.\n\n\t"Sorry." He muttered as he ducked under the counter to retreive it. The man let out a soft laugh.\n\n\t"No problem. What are you playing?"\n\n\t"Pokemon."\n\n\t"Oh. My friends keep telling me I need to get that."\n\n\t"Wait, you've never played Pokemon?"\n\n\t"It was a little after my time." The man shrugged.\n\n\t"I doubt that." Ray smiled. He always loved it when they had costumers willing to talk.\n\n\t"No, really. I was... Christ, I was in my twenties when the first one came out."\n\n\t"You're never too old to play Pokemon." Ray insisted. "You might want one of the newer versions though. I'll show you." Ray hopped off the stool, walking around the desk to lead him to the DS section.\n\n\t"I don't actually have a DS." The man looked sheepish as Ray stared at him. He shook his head in mock shame.\n\n\t"And you call yourself a gamer."\n\n\t"I never actually did..."\n\n\t"That was for humor, suit man."\n\n\t"Joel."\n\n\t"What?"\n\n\t"My name is Joel."\n\n\t"Ray." Ray shook Joel's hand, then led him to the 3DS section. Flirting could wait, there was educating to be done.\n\n\tJoel picked out a 2DS (much to Ray's dissapointment) and Pokemon X. He also grabbed Watchdogs at the last minute before they headed back to the register.\n\n\t"Thanks for all the help." He gave one of his earth-shattering smiles as Ray checked out his games. As the receipt printed out a nagging idea formed in the back of Ray's mind. He snatched the receipt and a pen from under the desk, scribbling something on it before tucking it into Joel's bag. He grinned and waved as Joel left, his heart sinking as he remembered what he wrote on the receipt.\n\n\t[[443-6504 Call me ;)\n\t\t-Ray|Call Me]]\n\t
\tRay buttoned up his slightly wrinkled dress shirt. He brushed his teeth and shooed Michael out of the house.\n\n\t"I //will// be texting you every twenty minutes." Michael warned.\n\n\t"Why?"\n\n\t"To be a good friend! This guy could be a rapist or a murderer or something."\n\n\t"Shit." Ray's eyes went wide and Michael realized his mistake.\n\n\t"Fuck, no! I didn't mean that. Calm down."\n\n\t"Ugh, just leave. He'll be here any minute." Michael threw up his hands in defeat as Ray shoved him out the door.\n\n\tA few minutes later Ray heard a knock, and oppened the door to see [[Joel smiling at him]].
\tRay rolled over, ignoring Michael's insistant knocks. Eventually he heard mutterd "I give up." followed by angry footsteps and the door slamming. Ray snuggled back into the covers. Maybe he could just call in sick? He couldn't face work today, not with it being the first day sharing a shift with Courtney since the breakup. Ray forced himself to sit up and untangle himself from his cocoon of sheets. He reached for his glasses and phone, finally finding them on the bedside table. He pulled up the number for the Gamestop he worked at, flipping himself upside down to hang off the bed, excercising a trick he learned in high school.\n\n\t"Hello?" Tina answered.\n\n\t"Hey, Tina." Ray's voice came out congested. "I'm not feeling so great."\n\n\t"You sound awful." Tina agreed. Ray did a victory fist pump, whacking his hand on the floor on the process.\n\n\t"I'm going to have to call in sick today."\n\n\t"Alright, you rest. I'll tell Courtney." Tina hung up just as Ray slid off the bed. He sat up groaning, rubbing his head.\n\n\tRay made his way to the kitchen, raiding the fridge for something to eat. Besides one last carton of milk it was almost completely empty. He pulled out the milk and fetched some Cheerios from the cupboard. He flipped through the news as he ate, then put away his dishes and headed back to his room to get dressed.\n\n\tHe had to do //something// today. Michael would kill him if he just laid in bed. But what should he do? The fridge was a baren wasteland. [[Grocery shopping]] didn't sound like a bad idea. Or he could do [[some laundry]].
\t"How about a movie? I'll pick you up at seven?"\n\n\t"Sounds good." Ray replied, checking the clock. 6:17. //Crap// "So, uh. I've go to get ready."\n\n\t"Yeah, me too. See you then?"\n\n\t"See you." Ray practically dropped the phone as he hung up, rushing to get in the shower.\n\n\t"Is it a date, then?" Michael shouted back to him.\n\n\t"It's a date. A date in less than an hour." He shouted from the bathroom. He took a fast shower then struggled to brush his teeth as he got dressed. Michael laughed as Ray got stuck inside his shirt, nothing but a toothbrush sticking out from the collar.\n\n\t"You know," He said as he helped untangle Ray. "You barely know this guy. Why are you freaking out?"\n\n\t"You haven't seen him." Ray mumbled around his toothbrush as his head finally emerged. "This is more than just a guy. This is an angel or a god. I don't know, who's that really attractive guy from mythology?"\n\n\t"Adonis?"\n\n\t"There you go. He's an //Adonis//." Ray froze as the doorbell rang.\n\n\t"Well, it looks like your Adonis is here. Use protection." Michael winked as he went to answer the door. Ray ran to the bathroom to finish brushing his teeth, then emerged into the hallway to see Joel dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt.\n\n\t"Hey, cutie." He smiled at him. Ray's mouth went dry and Michael stiffled a snort and an eye roll.\n\n\t"Ok, take your gay elsewhere." He ushered Ray out the door and slammed it behind them. "Make sure he doesn't have STDs." He hollered through the door. Both Ray and Joel blushed as they hopped in the elevator.\n\n\t"So..." Ray tried to start a conversation after Michael's lovely statement.\n\n\t"Have you seen 22 Jump Street yet?" Joel asked.\n\n\t"Not yet, I'd love to though. Is that what we're seeing?"\n\n\t"I was thinking so, yeah."\n\n\t"Cool." There was another awkward pause.\n\n\t"Um, so... Do you play video games?"\n\n\t"Video games are my life." Joel's eyes lit up. "I mean, besides my job and all."\n\n\t"I like to streem on Twitch. Do you ever record your gaming?"\n\n\t"Yeah, my friend Adam and I have a channel on youtube."\n\n\t"Wait, Joel and Adam? I love your stuff! You kind of suck though."\n\n\t"Thanks." Joel laughed. "What's your Twitch called?"\n\n\t"Brownman."\n\n\t"No way! I love your streams!" Joel said excitedly. Ray beamed. The elevator chimed open and they walked out, Joel leading him out to his car. They chatted excitedly about videogames the whole way to the movie.\n\n\tJoel payed for the tickets and Ray covered the snacks. They walked into the theatre to find all the good seats taken.\n\n\t"How about we sit in the back?"\n\n\t"Are you suggesting what I think you are?" Ray grinned at Joel.\n\n\tHe was. Ray was sure the movie was fine, but he had more important things to focus on. Like Joel's lips and his hands up his shirt.
\tRay called Michael as soon as he got home.\n\t\n\t"What is it? Did you go to work?"\n\n\t"Um, no."\n\n\t"//Ray//."\n\n\t"I know, I know. I'll go tomorrow. I promise. Listen, how long are you supposed to wait to call someone after they give you their number?"\n\n\t"Ooh, does somebody have a crush?"\n\n\t"Shut up." Ray grumbled as Michael laughed into the phone.\n\n\t"I don't know man, [[a day]]? [[An hour]]?"
\tRay left the house on his bike, huffing up the hill to the nearest grocery store. He locked up his bike (Something good about Austin: There are bike racks everywhere) and headed inside. He pulled out his phone to text Michael as he ambled through the aisles, muttering his words as he typed them.\n\n\t"Hey, what do we need...from...the..." Ray cut himself off as he walked straight into a man in the cheese aisle. He backed up quickly, already apologizing, and managed to trip over the man's grocery cart. He fell flat on his ass, dropping his phone in the process.\n\n\t"Are you alright?" Ray looked up to see an angel smiling down at him. Obviously not. He was definetly dead. And in heaven.\n\n\t"I am now." He grinned. Something about making a complete ass out of himself always put him in a confident mood. The man blushed slightly and offered Ray a hand. He took it, standing up and brushing off his shorts.\n\n\t"I'm Joel." He said.\n\n\t"Ray."\n\n\t"Who were you texting?"\n\n\t"Oh, my roomate. I needed a grocery list."\n\n\t"Can I see that?" Joel gestured to the phone in Ray's hands. Ray looked at him quizzically, but handed it over. Joel unlocked it, tapping around a few times before handing it back to Ray. Ray took it, still befuddled as Joel walked off. He looked down to see a new contact in his phone labeled [[Joel]].
\t"A day?" Ray whined.\n\n\t"I don't make the rules, bro."\n\n\t"Fine. I'll just go play video games and marinate in my sexual frustration."\n\n\t"There will be no sexual marinating in my house." Michael hissed. "Aww, shit. The old lady in this house just looked at me weird for that."\n\n----\n\tRay waited. And waited. And waited. He played videogames until Michael came home, then played videogames while Michael yelled at him for not doing his laundry, then played videogames while Michael fixed dinner. The second he put down the controller his thoughts shifted back to Joel. Michael noticed.\n\n\t"Look, If you want to talk to him that bad-"\n\n\t"Nope. I'm waiting a day."\n\n\t"That was really more of a guess than a definitive rule."\n\n\t"I'm //waiting//."\n\n\t"Fine." Michael threw his hands up in defeat. "Hey, can I see your phone?" Ray slid it over to him and Michael tapped around, then brought it up to his ear. Ray's stomach plumeted as Michael said,\n\n\t"Hey, Joel!"\n\n\t"Fuck! Michael! give it back." Ray reached across the table. Michael leaned back to avoid his grasp.\n\n\t"No, this is Michael, Ray's roomate. Ray's being an ass and he refuses to call you for a day so you'll think he's cool."\n\n\t"Seriously, give it back!"\n\n\t"Sure, he's right here." Michael placed the phone in Ray's outstretched hand.\n\n\t"Oh my god I'm so sorry about that." Ray gushed out. "My roomate is an asshole."\n\n\t"It's fine." Joel chuckled into the phone. "I was really hoping you'd call. I was starting to think you didn't want to."\n\n\t"Want to what?"\n\n\t"Talk, court, date? Whatever you hip kids are calling it these days."\n\n\t"I-I'd love to." Ray stuttered out.\n\n\t"Great!" Ray could picture Joel's gorgeous smile as he said it. "Where do you want to go and when?"\n\n\t"Um, a [[restaurant]] or a [[movie]]? Not your place, I don't know if your a rapist or something." Michael facepalmed and Ray was tempted to do the same as the words left his mouth. "Shit, I didn't mean-"\n\n\t"It's fine!" Joel laughed.
\tRay descended into the basement with a mountainous pile of dirty clothes. He popped some quarters in the machine and headed back upstairs to play videogames. Halfway through a vicious slaughtering in Lollipop Chainsaw his phone rang.\n\n\t"Hello?"\n\n\t"Hey, dumbass." Michaels voice replied. "Did you go to work?"\n\n\t"Um, no."\n\n\t"If you get fired I //will// kick you out."\n\n\t"No you won't"\n\n\t"No, I won't." Michael sighed. "Did you at least do something?"\n\n\t"Yeah. I did some laundry and I'm going to go grocery shopping later."\n\n\t"Whatever. Make sure you turn off the lights and all before you leave."\n\n\t"Will do."
\tRay paced across his bedroom while Michael sat on the bed, arms crossed.\n\n\t"Dude, relax."\n\n\t"I can't relax! What am I supposed to wear?"\n\n\t"He's just coming over to chill. I'll leave you two alone and you'll play videogames all night. Wear your normal, smelly old [[t-shirts]]."\n\n\t"Do I really smell?" Ray turned to Michael, true horror in his eyes. Michael rolled his eyes.\n\n\t"No, you don't smell. Seriously, just pick a shirt."\n\t\n\t"But he dressed really nice." Ray insisted. "I think I have a [[dress shirt]] that still fits..."\n\n\t"Look, wear whatever you want." Michael sighed.
Title: Choices\nRating: M to be safe (only one path leads to actually doing he do though)\nPairing: Joelay\n\n\n\n\tRay woke up to the sound of Michael pounding on his door.\n\n\t"[[Get up]], assface." He yelled. "You're going to be late for work." Ray rolled over in bed and groaned. All he wanted to do was [[go back to sleep|]].
\tRay grabbed some groceries on the way home from work, plopping them on the kitchen counter when he got inside. He pulled out his phone and set it on the counter as well, making sure it wasn't muted. He eyed the infernal device as he unpacked the groceries, anxious for a response from Joel. He could easily have been straight. Straight and weirded the fuck out by Ray coming on to him. That didn't stop Ray from hoping against hope that the phone would ring.\n\n\tHe tucked his phone in his back pocket as he went to the basement to do some laundry as Michael had ordered. When he got back upstairs he turned on his console, pulling up Lollipop Chainsaw to kill time until Michael got home.\n\n\tIn the middle of a brutal zombie slaughtering Ray's phone rang. He barely remembered to pause the game as he tossed the controler aside and scrambled to pick up the unknown number.\n\n\t"Hello?" he answered eagerly.\n\n\t"You sneaky bastard." Joel chuckled from the other end. "Do you know how long I moped about you before I bothered to look in the bag?" Ray cheered mentally.\n\n\t"Well, this //is// Texas. I could get beat up for hitting on a random customer. Also fired."\n\n\t"So you //were// hitting on me."\n\n\t"I thought the winky face cleared that up."\n\n\t"It was a nice touch."\n\n\t"Why thank you."\n\n\t"So, I was thinking we should hang out sometime." Joel said almost too casually.\n\n\t"Videogames? My place?"\n\n\t"My dream date."\n\t\n\t"Tonight?"\n\n\t"[[Tonight]]."
Choices
\tJoel drove them to that mexican place down the road. The ride was mostly silent, but not awkward. Ray kept exchanging excited glances with Joel, both happy to be on a date. They pulled into the parking lot and got a table outside, as the Austin heat was starting to die down.\n\n\t"So, what do you do for a living?" Ray asked after they ordered their food.\n\n\t"I'm a stock broker. I do some acting on the side as well. Well, I used to. I lived in California until now. One of my old friends has a business idea, so I'm moving back to Austin."\n\n\t"Oh thank god. For a second I thought this was going to have to be a long-distance relationship."\n\n\t"So you want this to be a relationship?" Joel's eyes lit up.\n\n\t"Well, I mean, I barely know you right now." Ray blushed as he realized how that sounded. "I mean, we just met. But yeah, I'd like to."\n\n\t"Good." Joel smiled. "Me too."\n\n\t"So, tell me more about this business idea."\n\n\t"Alright, are you into video games?"

\tJoel was wearing a t-shirt and jeans.\n\n\t"Hey." He grinned as Ray stepped aside to let him enter. He stood in the hallway awkwardly, waiting for some kind of direction from Ray.\n\n\t"My games are over there." Ray gestured to the living room. Joel nodded and followed him to the couch, where he sat awkwardly while Ray shuffled through his games. "How does Far Cry 3 sound?"\n\n\t"Good." Joel nodded. Ray smiled at his awkwardness. He'd seemed so suave before. It was good to know Ray wasn't the only awkward one.\n\n\tRay sat down on the couch and, on a whim, planted a kiss on Joel's cheek. The older man froze, turning a light pink.\n\n\t"I, um..." He cleared his throat.\n\n\t"Relax, dude." Ray laughed. He snuggled in, leaning on Joel's shoulder "You know, maybe you can teach me something to do in this game." Joel's eyes lit up.\n\n"I can catch you a shark skin!"
\tRay pulled another graphic tee out of his dresser, this time one that read "I never finish anyth" He brushed his teeth and shooed Michael out of the house.\n\n\t"I //will// be texting you every twenty minutes." Michael warned.\n\n\t"Why?"\n\n\t"To be a good friend! This guy could be a rapist or a murderer or something."\n\n\t"Shit." Ray's eyes went wide and Michael realized his mistake.\n\n\t"Fuck, no! I didn't mean that. Calm down."\n\n\t"Ugh, just leave. He'll be here any minute." Michael threw up his hands in defeat as Ray shoved him out the door.\n\n\tA few minutes later Ray heard a knock, and oppened the door to see [[Joel standing in the doorframe]].
\t"A resturaunt sounds good. I'll pick you up at seven?" Joel asked.\n\n\t"Wait, like, tonight?"\n\n\t"If you're not busy.\n\n\t"Not at all."\n\t\n\t"Seven it is." Joel hung up and Ray resisted the urge to jump around the room in excitement.\n\n\t"So?" Michael leaned in curiously.\n\n\t"I've got a date! Oh god, in less than an hour." Ray felt the panic set back in as he rushed to get ready, hopping in the shower and brushing his teeth. He pulled on another t-shirt and jeans, paired, of course, with his checkered vans. At exactly seven o'clock the doorbell rang.\n\n\t"Hey." Ray heard Michael say as he answered the door, as Ray was obsesively combing his hair in the bathroom.\n\n\t"So, I'm guessing you're Michael?"\n\n\t"The one and only." Michael suddenly lowered his voice so that Ray couldn't here. //Crap.// Ray thought. He rushed into the hallway just in time to see Michael drawing back from whispering something to Joel. By the look on Joel's face it was definetly somehing threatening. Joel caught Ray's gaze and immediatly looked releived.\n\n\t"So, you want to hit the road?"\n\n\tRay nodded and said a quick goodbye to Michael before heading into the elevator with Joel.\n\n\t"Sorry if Michael said anything to you." He looked at his feet, nervously awaiting Joel's response. He smiled as he heard Joel let out a laugh.\n\n\t"I'm used to it. To be fair, I'm kind of cradle robbing here."\n\n\t"Excuse you, I'm 24!"\n\n\t"And I'm 42."\n\n\t"Shit, really? You look //maybe// late thirties."\n\n\t"You flatter me." Joel grinned at him. "I just might keep you around for that."\n\n\t"So where are we going?"\n\n\t"[[That mexican place down the road]]?"
